Dr. Grace Totoe Bio

Grace Totoe is a board-certified internist recognized by the American Board of Internal Medicine and serves as the medical director and managing partner at Totoe Medical Services LTD. With over 14 years of healthcare experience, she has spent more than 7 years in her current role as a Nocturnist/Hospitalist/Acute Care Medicine Physician across multiple hospitals in the Minneapolis, MN area. She holds medical licenses in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kansas.

Grace graduated in 2004 from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s School of Medical Sciences in Ghana. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Yale University-affiliated St. Mary’s Medical Center and pursued a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at The University of Minnesota. During her medical education and residency, she also undertook medical electives at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a University of Pennsylvania affiliated hospital, along with hematology and oncology rotations at Johns Hopkins Health System and the Yale Health System.

Dr. Grace Totoe is credentialed with several hospitals in the Minneapolis region, including North Memorial Health System, North Clinic, Ridgeview Medical Center, Health Partners Health System/Park Nicollet Health System, Mayo Health System, M Health Fairview System, and Essentia Health System. Additionally, she is exploring opportunities in her telemedicine clinic to expand patient access to her expertise.

Grace Totoe is a board-certified internist and a fellow of the American College of Physicians, who has been appointed to the board of physicians with The American Health Council. She is actively involved in numerous professional associations, including The Society of Hospital Medicine, The American Medical Association, The American Association of Blood Banks, The University of Minnesota Alumni Association, The University of Science and Technology Alumni Association, and the Ghana International School Alumni Association. Additionally, she is in Good Standing with The Ghana Medical and Dental Council.

As the CEO of her own Totoe Medical Services LTD, Grace oversees a telemedicine clinic providing essential healthcare services. Her charitable work includes being a financial donor to the missionary efforts of Africa Partners Medical, which focuses on training medical professionals in Africa through continuous medical education programs and donating medical supplies to healthcare institutions across the continent.

Grace has volunteered her time at Plymouth Creek Elementary and her church, Holy Name of Jesus, on multiple occasions. She also actively supports her kids' basketball travel team, assisting with minor team injuries, drawing upon her extensive healthcare experience.

In her spare time, Grace enjoys spending quality moments with her kids, watching movies, cooking, and cherishing time with her family.
